When someone suggests something you don't just go blindly into getting into trouble. Because the consequences can be worse than what you anticipate or even more dangerous than what you can predict or imagine. Or just do it then. I'm not your dad. So if you go and cause chaos across the land that's on you. Just don't roll up like a log and come begging for help and crying that you messed up your pants because you're scared that you now realize the magnitude of your bad decisions.
